PID Floors Hosts NY11+ Reception & Design Panel Discussion
We were thrilled to host the NY11+ Reception & Panel Discussion: “Paths to Professionalism in Interior Design” on April 25th at our flagship showroom!
The panel featured a diverse lineup of esteemed professionals from various sectors of the design industry:
- Alyssa Kita, Interior Design student at Villa Maria College
- Katherine Plunkett, Sales & Designer at Bernhardt Furniture
- Holly Chang, Consulting Manager at Cushman & Wakefield, & Designer
- Dani Arps, CEO and Designer at Artisan Alliance
- Eric Greppo, Executive Secretary of NY State Board for Interior Design
The discussion was moderated by:
-Dr. Ellen Fisher, VP for Academic Affairs & Dean of the New York School of Interior Design.
-Benjamin Huntington, FASID, CIDQ, NY CID, an Ambassador for the National Council for Interior Design Qualification (NCIDQ)
-Myron Johnson, the Supervisor at the Port Authority NY/NJ PABT.
The audience for this event included design students, educators, and interior design professionals, providing a valuable opportunity for networking and learning.
Our new PID Floors flagship showroom is truly a celebration of all the things we know and love about our industry. We created it to become a design hub of inspiration for all and we are thrilled to have hosted this event!
