Contessa Miami!   

 THE OLD WORLD MEETS NEW IN THE HEART OF THE MIAMI DESIGN DISTRICT 

“Inspired by the old-world sophistication of Northern Italy’s iconic villas and estates, Contessa is a glossy trattoria by New York-based Major Food Group Co-Founders and creative forces Jeff Zalaznick, Mario Carbone, and Rich Torrisi (who already own several restaurants in South Florida). The Miami outpost follows suit of the original location on the rooftop of The Newbury Hotel in Boston, and the result is Italian decadence with a side of New England swagger. The two-story restaurant transports guests to Lake Como circa 1960 with emerald drapery, high gloss teak woodwork and Murano glass chandeliers.”

To work with the talented in-house design team at Major Food Group on this incredible space was a true honor. Throughout Contessa Miami, you will find our European White Oak Herringbone Floors called HOLDEN.
